We are purely an online store selling curated terracotta jewellery (handmade and hand-painted) created by individual women artisans.
OUR PRODUCT IS OUR ESP
Unique artisan jewellery manufactured using traditional kiln methods for baking clay. Totally handmade by individual women artisans or by members of their small team. No two pieces are alike.
When you place a online order, one of our six artisans will commence making your order. The process includes designing, baking clay, time to set, artwork, coloring, setting time of colors/paints, final touches and final approval for shipping. The normal making time of 10 – 15 days is required for the best look and durability of each item and to make sure we deliver the right product. We are always happy to go the extra mile to make shopping with us a joyful experience.
SUPPORTING THE SPIRIT OF SISTERHOOD
It was also important to us that we can support the lady artisans working solo or along with their small team of five or more workers (mostly women) making this an initiative of women, for women, by women.
We have also taken care to be an eco-friendly, sustainable business by reducing our carbon footprint, sourcing locally where possible, supporting upcycling, tying up with local artisans or women running small businesses and by supporting NGOs working for a cause. We have also avoided layers of fancy packaging.
As part of this initiative, we run our business purely online and individual orders are pre-booked and then ordered to be created. These are then shipped to individual addresses across Australia through AusPost.
WE LOVE CURATING, SHARING AND USING OUR PRODUCTS
Each jewellery item is sourced from the sub-continent after thorough search and selection process and then curated after we ensure that the design and materials are authentic. We have endeavoured to be ethical to the utmost and this passion is shared by our artisans' team too.
Our women artisans don’t just make for the sake of making and we don’t sell for the sake of profiteering. We believe in all our products and love its USP since the artist breathe life lovingly and passionately into each handful of terracotta to transform it into an object of beauty and joy. There is truly blood, sweat and tears over each product created.
AUSTRALIAN OPERATED
Our online store and support office is based out of Melbourne, Victoria. Our aim is to deliver your products within 30-45 days depending on when we receive your order as the jewellery is made to order.
NO RETURNS
As a welcomed client of Tattvas Curated, you can shop with confidence. However, we do not accept returns or exchanges. But please contact us if you have problems with your order.
